About.

Kim Cardwell has been diving now for 30 years and a PADI Course Director for 16 years winning many awards for excellence in training. In 2004 she established Far North Queensland (FNQ) First Aid training to deliver flexible first aid programmes to satisfy a wide range of individual requirements.

Kim also holds a Diploma in Vocational Education & Training and a Diploma in Training Design & Development. Now combining her exemplary first aid training with her love of diving, she performs all of our first aid training programmes, beginner through to instructor.

Alongside her many accomplishments she is an active sportswoman and as well as being a personal fitness trainer, competing and winning several figure competitions, she holds a First DAN black belt in Taekwondo. These attributes also complement her wide knowledge of human physiology, thus expanding her ability to not only teach correct first aid procedures but advise on preparedness and prevention.
